YOUR MESSAGE CONTENT:
Please give as much detail as possible, most important are dates and times. State what presentation you want or are interested in. No need to ask me if I am "interested", that's why I play music. because I am interested in it! Even if you are not sure of a date or anything like that, give me an idea of maybe when your event might occur! Please leave your name and I will email you back as soon as possible. Typically, I return calls and emails with 1-2 days, please understand that there are occasions when I'm swamped with presentations, or I'm in an area where there is limited phone or internet access. I try to be very fast.
You can also simply contact me to ask questions.
Here is a quick outline/short description of my original, educational and highly in interactive programs that you'll find on this page:
ALL ages. Audiences basically sing "easy-to-sing-songs" and play "actual native percussion". Highly visual and exotic sounding!
I dress in appropriate native attire!
See the native percussion the kids use in the photo above; actually, I bring more than that!
NOTE: For the "SOUNDS OF ANCIENT MEXICO" program, I can also bring extra musicians and even add a "Mexica Danzante" (Aztec dancer) if you desire.
2) "Storytelling Programs"
A cool combination of storytelling and interactive music as above.
3) "Instrument Making Workshops"
Always safe and for ALL ages. Over 50,000 instruments made with kids and adults since 1990.
The following are the very requirements I have if you are going to create press releases, programs or any written/printed material on me and my work.
I require that if your organization/school is planning to do "Lesson Plans" on my program or "Biographical Information" (see FREE-DOWNLOADS tab above), please follow my guidelines to your happiness below:
#1) You must inform of your intention to do so.
#2) All of your lesson plans (draft and final) must be submitted to me via E-mail for my review, no later than a month before the gig, or anytime beore you print programs or make press releases, so I have time, within my schedule, to study it and thus can satisfy YOUR NEEDS and ONLY talk about the subjects in your planned lessons.
#3) Because of my knowledge in this field, I will review AND add corrections, including adding, if necessary, my copyrighted material, for which my name will be listed to give me proper legal credit.
#4) You can request my lesson plans (all based in Arts Standards and Fact Based Scholarly Research).
#5) Any other use of my lessons, including my additions/corrections can only be used and approved with my permission.
#6) I can cover alot of subjects, materials and info which always age appropriate (because of my 30+ years experience) and I want to be as precise for YOU as possible. So, if you're not going to do lesson plans but have ideas of what you'd like me to teach or comment on or not comment on, LET ME KNOW....I want to see you satisfied dear friends!!!
#7) Also, at the FREE-DOWNLOADS tab above you can download high resolution photos of beautiful me!
This way we'll stay on track together and make for happy learning!
Sinceramente, Martin Espino
PRICES: I apologize, because of wannabees and culture vultures, I don't list my prices here, please contact me via email or phone.:
AMOUNT OF WORKSHOPS: Because I am highly experienced with audiences of ALL ages, have "been there and done that" and because I have a great high passionate energy level, I find that I can handle as many presentations in one day that you have time for. Normally, the highest amount of Assemblies is 3 a day and Workshops up to 5 a day. I am open to your suggestions!
